Originating in Japan, shave ice was introduced to the Hawaiians and has grown to be a widely popular chilling treat enjoyed in the heat. Different than sno-cones, we shave our ice so it's not crunchy and hard, but soft and melts in your mouth. Shave ice comes in many flavors from tropical, fruity, sweet, and sour.

 

At Nice Ice, we have over 40 original and specialty flavors for you to try, along with natural and sugar-free flavors. We exclusively have free sweet cream that you can add to enhance the flavor of your Nice Ice. You can also add a scoop of ice cream to the bottom of any size Nice Ice.

 

 

Nice Ice opened in May 2013 with only one location in Sandy. Eleven years later, we now have three locations around the Salt Lake Valley with as many as seven in the past. We also bring the shave ice to you and your event or party with our mobile satellite cart (Snomobile Cart) and Snowie Buildings!

 

After studying business at the University of Hawai'i in Honolulu, Samantha and her sisters wanted to bring a little piece of Hawai'i to Utah, so we opened Nice Ice Baby. We enjoy serving our customers a delicious Hawaiian treat every summer season.

 

The name, Nice Ice Baby? Well, it just fits. It's original, fun, and embraces exactly what we value and serve.
